Here’s everything new at Acrisure Stadium to enhance your Steelers game day experience

Starting Sunday, thousands of fans will frequently fill Acrisure Stadium as the Steelers take to the field.

Ahead of the Steelers’ home opener against the Falcons, Acrisure Stadium officials are revealing to fans what’s changed to enhance their gameday experience.

“As Acrisure Stadium marks its 25th anniversary, we’re doing what we’ve always done: continually improve the stadium so we compete at the highest level, on and off the field,” said Jay Roberts, vice president of Stadium Operations and Management. “This offseason’s upgrades... are designed to set the team up for success and deliver a memorable gameday experience for every fan who walks through our gates.”

From stadium enhancements to new food and drink opportunities, here’s the breakdown of what you can expect the next time you go to Acrisure Stadium

KEY ENHANCEMENTS

1993 Club Presented by Heinz is the new premium club inside the stadium that officials say delivers an “elevated, all-inclusive gameday experience.” Members have access to elevated drinks and food, a comfortable lounge, an exclusive behind-the-scenes view of the Steelers’ locker room entrance and direct access to the 100 level concourse.

The club is sold out for the 2026 season, but anyone interested in joining for a future season is encouraged to join the wait list.

Another major enhancement is the field itself. In the offseason, the field was changed to a different type of grass -- Tachoma 31 Bermudagrass sod. Officials say the grass is cold, drought and high-traffic tolerant that’s built to deliver better traction and resist divots.

And this change isn’t only noticeable for the players; the turf has a lighter green hue and womn’t develop the classic mowed-in stripe pattern.

IN GAME FEATURES AND ENTERTAINMENT

The stadium is rolling out a suite of in-game enhancements this season, like:

  • Ford Fan Zone Stage: Located in the southwest corner of the south end zone, this stage gives Acrisure Stadium the ability to host in-game musical performances.
  • Branding refresh that includes new scoreboard features, a reimagined pregame intro sequence and an in-stadium television system meant to keep fans connected to the action whever they are in the building
  • A reimagined Gameday Magazine, which is now a multi-panel fold-out. It’s compact, interactive, and full of easily digestible essential gameday information.

NEW FOOD AND BEVERAGE

The new food and beverage additions are said to be elevated takes on classic favorites and Pittsburgh-inspired twists.

New offerings on the main and upper concourse include

  • Fourth and Flav Nacho will serve upscale nacho options at the Nachos Portables in sections 118, 505, 516, 518, 529, and 534.
  • Pierogies N’at, which blends comfort food flavors with unexpected toppings will be available at the Pittsburgh Pierogies Stand at section 119.

MUST SEE DESTINATIONS

There’s plenty to see and do at Acrisure Stadium -- some of which honors the city’s record-setting NFL Draft.

The NFL Draft Countdown Clock is now on the Gate A lawn, right next to the outdoor playing field. Officials say it’s a great photo opportunity and it now serves as a Steelers game day countdown.

There’s also the 2026 NFL Draft Exhibit in the Hall of Honor Museum. The display features all the highlights from the draft and fans can even pick up a phone and hear Steelers GM Omar Khan share the news that they’ve just been selected. Click here to book a tour of the museum.

Not related to the draft, there’s also a new terrace that offers a fan a walk down Steelers memory lane through the lens of original articles and newspapers from 1975 to the early 2000s. The TribLIVE Terrace is located in the southwest corner of the stadium, adjacent to the Ford Fan Zone and above the FedEx Great Hall.

PREGAME ACTIVATIONS

Game day fun starts hours before the Steelers take to the field, and Acrisure Stadium is prepared with three pregame activations:

  • Sensory Activation Vehicle: This season, a new pregame activation will bring greater accessibility and inclusion to the game day experience. KultureCity is introducing its Sensory Activation Vehicle (SAV) to the Steelers pregame on Art Rooney Avenue. The SAV offers a quiet, calm physical space where fans can step away for a moment to decompress before returning to the excitement of game day. Inside the stadium, sensory kits will continue to be available at all Guest Services and First Aid locations.
  • Steelers Country Returns: Fans looking to relive some of their favorite moments from the Steelers Country activation at Point State Park during the NFL Draft can enter the stadium’s campus through West General Robinson Street, passing beneath the massive archway from the Steelers fan zone. The fan-favorite Super Bowl Rings display, featuring larger-than-life replicas celebrating each of the franchise’s championship victories, will now be located in the FedEx Great Hall.
  • A new Hall of Honor activation with a gameday match up photo op will be available for each game.
