BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Beaver County family is fed up, telling Channel 11 they have been harassed for years by a group of people who are kicking and knocking on their doors, spraying their home with soap and silly string, and allegedly causing thousands of dollars in damage to their property.
“I feel terrorized,” Danielle Moses said. “It’s horrible when you’re in bed and you’re going to sleep and out of nowhere you hear this horrible banging, and you think someone’s breaking into your home. It’s scary. It’s loud and it’s scary.”
Her cameras caught the vandals in the act on the last two Fridays.
In one video, you see someone approach the house and spray a soapy liquid at a camera, distorting it. Another camera caught that moment from a different angle.
You can also see the suspects spray silly string at the house, then shoot confetti at the front door before running away.
That confetti and damage was still there on Tuesday.
“It’s like the Dawn stained the brick and the cement, so that’s going to need treated,” Moses said.
There is also still silly string in the driveway where Moses said the suspects sprayed her car.
While silly string and soap may seem minor, it’s the fact that they’ve been targeted over and over.
Moses said it started nearly two years ago in May 2024. They reported it to police, but no one was ever caught. So, they installed more cameras — even hiding the one sprayed with soap just last week.
“I don’t even know how they saw that,” she said. “It was hidden.”
Moses said the vandals also broke the railing on their porch. The estimate to fix?
“$3,500,” Moses said.
Moses hopes these videos can help police and neighbors identify whoever is responsible. She has a message to the people she says have terrorized her family more than 20 times over the last two years.
“Go do something else that’s fun with your friends,” she said. “This has gone a little too far. It feels more like harassment and bullying at this point. It’s not just running and laughing with your friends anymore. I mean, we are fed up.”
Channel 11 called Brighton Township Police, but we have not heard back.
