Pittsburgh’s biggest private equity firm, Incline Equity Partners, has sold Edko, a portfolio company it has owned since June 2021 and grown fourfold.
The buyer was L Squared Capital Partners of Newport Beach, California. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Edko, founded in 1961 and based in Bossier City, Louisiana, is a provider of herbicide vegetation management services to help utility, pipeline, refinery and renewables customers maintain safety and reliability around critical infrastructure. The company’s non-discretionary and recurring offerings can be tailored to job-site requirements, including herbicide application, light mechanical vegetation control, contract forestry and fire mitigation, often through its proprietary drone program.
