Pennsylvania State Police investigating threat at Indiana Area Senior High School

INDIANA, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release that they were called to Indiana Area Senior High School in Indiana to investigate a threatening message on a bathroom wall.

Around 11:52 a.m., the school’s administration notified police of the message, according to the release.

The release said the threat was handwritten and contained racially insensitive words.

The release also said that with assistance from the school, several students and surveillance video, the threat couldn’t be substantiated.

The release went on to say the following:

“As always, the Pennsylvania State Police continues to encourage students and parents to report suspicious activity to school administrators and law enforcement. Anonymous reports may be made 24/7 via the Safe2SaySomething program.”
