Inmates accused of lighting fire at Westmoreland County Prison

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — An investigation is underway after a fire was set at the Westmoreland County Prison late Wednesday night.

The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m.

Police said several rags were on fire and investigators believe inmates are to blame.

No serious injuries were reported.
