JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. — Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue is teaming up with the American Red Cross to give away free smoke detectors.
Residents can get two to four smoke detectors at the fire department.
The American Red Cross provides the detectors and fire personnel are available to install them and share important safety information.
Firefighters ask that you schedule an appointment if you would like to participate.
Appointments can be made seven days a week between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
