None — GREENSBURG, Pa. -- A judge ordered a local man to stand trial on charges he used a church's bank account and charged more than $1,400 in phone calls to an adult entertainment chat line.

According to police, Keith Jenkins is accused of telling the pastor at Zion Evangelical Church in Greensburg that his wife just had a new baby and he needed money for formula and other supplies. Police said the pastor wrote Jenkins a $40 check, which he cashed at a local Walmart.

Authorities said Jenkins then used the routing number on the check to set up an account with an adult entertainment chat line based in California.

According to police, Jenkins made 23 calls and charged a little more than $1,400 from Dec. 21, 2011, to Jan. 23.

Jenkins is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. The judge raised his bail on Thursday to $10,000.
