None — GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The younger brother of a man fatally shot by police after he killed a Lower Burrell police officer last year is jailed on a parole violation for allegedly threatening to shoot a police officer, too.
Christopher Post, 30, said the incident that led a Westmoreland County judge to revoke his parole on Monday is false and "blown all out of proportion," according to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE.
Post's 40-year-old brother, Charlie Post, was shot by officers who responded after he gunned down Lower Burrell Officer Derek Kotecki on Oct. 12. Kotecki was trying to arrest Post for shooting at another man 10 days before.
County prosecutors filed to revoke Christopher Post's parole on a drug conviction because he allegedly said, "I'm going to get an AK-47 and kill a Lower Burrell cop" during an argument in January.
