HARMAR TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A landslide is threatening to cut off the only way in and out of a Harmar Township neighborhood where about 50 homes are located.
The slide on Ridge Road, which has dropped 2 feet as a result of the erosion, has some residents worried.

"How would we get in and out?" asked Leslie Schneider.
Other residents, however, are confident that the problem will be fixed.
"They'll straighten it out. I have no concerns at all," said Jim Praskinar.
A township engineer told Channel 11's Lori Houy that the road dropping "got their attention," but that the cause of the slide is not yet known.
"Hopefully they'll figure it out and it's fixable," said Schneider.
A geotechnical engineer will inspect the slide to determine the cause before repairs are made.
