NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A Lawrence County man fell approximately 20 feet from a ladder Saturday morning and was transported to Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

A witness told Channel 11 News the man was cutting a tree limb that was threatening his home in Shenango Township.
When the limb fell, it hit the bottom of the ladder which caused the man to be knocked to the ground.
He was talking to emergency workers at the scene and was complaining of pain before he was taken to the hospital.
The victim was conscious and alert following the fall, and the extent of his injuries is unknown.
