Heroin, fentanyl among items seized during drug bust in New Castle

New Castle police have arrested a man they was trying to sell drugs at a home where there was a child.

A home on Court Street was searched Monday around 10:45 p.m., and inside police found Jeremy Perkins with a female and a child.

Plastic baggies containing cocaine and heroin were seized, plus fentanyl patches, suboxone strips, amphetamine patches, THC vape cartridges and nearly $12,000 in cash.

Perkins is facing charges for three counts of possession with intent to distribute, five counts of possession and one count of drug paraphernalia.
