ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were taken to a hospital following a crash in Ross Township on Monday afternoon.
The call for the crash on Thompson Run Road near the intersection of Vilsack Road came into 911 at 2:05 pm.
Dispatchers initially said one person was taken to a hospital from the crash.
At 3:59 p.m. on Monday, Ross Township Deputy Police Chief Brian Kohlhepp confirmed that a second person was also injured and taken to a hospital. He added that no one’s injuries were critical.
Our crews on scene saw an apparent head-on crash involving a sedan and a pick-up truck.
The road was closed while crews responded to the scene, but it has since reopened.
