PITTSBURGH — Police continue looking for a man who shot four others, including one who died, in a housing project apartment in the tiny suburb of East Pittsburgh.

The Allegheny County medical examiner identified the dead man as 26-year-old Reno Wallace II.

Police say the other three victims are expected to survive. Two were driving themselves to a hospital when police responding to the shooting stopped them and summoned help.

Police say Wallace's cousin leased the apartment but wasn't there when the shooting occurred about 12:30 a.m. Friday at the Prospect Terrace apartments.

Police aren't saying whether they have a motive for the shooting, but they believe the gunman knew his victims. But county housing authority police Chief Mike Vogel says the wounded victims weren't cooperating with police.

“You took part of me away, but you left his son fatherless and you’re wrong. You’re just wrong,” Wallace’s mother, Tonya McGill, told Channel 11 News.

Wallace’s family says he was an up and coming Pittsburgh rap artist known as “Trillzee.”

“He was a good guy. He had morals and values,” McGill said.

Wallace was a father of two, according to his family.
