WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — Teachers in Ligonier Valley School District are scheduled to meet Monday to vote on a new contract.
Teachers and district officials reached a tentative agreement last week, averting a strike.
More than 100 teachers, parents, students and community members picketed in the freezing temperatures last Tuesday.
Details of the new agreement have not yet been released.
