Channel 11's Courtney Brennan learned people in Nemacolin don't get their mail delivered, so they'll have to drive to get anything.

Dave Plavi is one of the many people who went to pick up their mail on Monday and was greeted by a sign on the door that said, “CLOSED.”
“I don’t know if it’s permanent or not. I never heard anything,” Gary Estanich said.
The Carmichaels post office is 12 miles away, and that’s where the mail will now go.
“We were told to pick up our mail at Carmichaels, and to do all our mail things there,” said Judi Gibson.
According to Plavi, many people in the small town can’t afford a car and some can’t drive.
“For the older people that don’t drive or have a car, and a lot of older people get their medication in the mail,” Plavi said.
No one knows when the post office will reopen. Plavi said postal employees told him why it closed.
“There is an area of black mold and there is an odor apparently coming out of water drains,” Plavi said.
