LOWER BURRELL, Pa. — Police arrested a man who allegedly threatened to shoot his former boss and had a high-powered rifle and ammunition in his vehicle, police told The Valley News Dispatch.
Anthony Paul Heasley, 57, of Lower Burrell, said he wanted to kill his former boss at Leeds, a promotional supplies company that is now known as Polyconcept North America.

According to police, the rifle was not loaded when it was found, but there were four rounds in the vehicle's console.
A woman who called emergency officials said she tried to take the rifle away from Heasley because he was threatening to shoot someone.
When Heasley was first asked why he had a rifle with him, he told police that he had changed his mind. He later admitted that he was planning to kill his boss, The Valley News Dispatch reports.
Heasley is charged with attempted homicide, making terroristic threats, having an instrument of crime, and two counts of driving under the influence.
He is currently being held in the Westmoreland County Jail, and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
