Man, 19, killed in McKees Rocks shooting

MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A man was killed in a shooting in McKees Rocks on Monday evening, Allegheny County police said.

The shooting happened along Boquet Street at 5:18 p.m. Children were present at the time of the shooting.

Once on scene, first responders found a 19-year-old man, who was later identified as Ronald Fuller, who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The investigation shows the suspect approached Fuller and shot at him. Police said they believe Fuller returned fire.

“When they arrived they discovered a male in critical condition. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased at the hospital,” Lt. Venerando Costa with the Allegheny County Police said.

“We do believe we have just one shooter involved. There may have been return fire,” Costa said.

The suspect fled the scene, according to police.
