UNITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is accused of crashing through a fence at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Westmoreland County.
Information shared by Pennsylvania State Police on Monday said the incident happened at the airport on Saturday.
Troopers say a 25-year-old man from Greensburg drove a red Chevy Cobalt through the perimeter fence while he was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police say the man resisted arrest and spit on troopers as they tried to take him into custody.
Documents show the man refused a blood test and intentionally urinated on the Greensburg Barracks patrol room floor upon his arrival.
The man’s identity has not been released at this time.
Police estimate the crash caused $1,500 in damage to the chain-link fence.
