ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — A man was arrested after he tried to enter an active crime scene in Aliquippa, police say.
A spokesperson for the Aliquippa Police Department said the man approached a crime scene set up on the 1200 block of Wade Street at 5:38 p.m. on Tuesday.
That is where officers had responded to a shooting that left one person injured.
Police say the man was told not to cross the established perimeter, but he pulled out a knife and intentionally cut the crime scene tape in an attempt to enter.
He was immediately taken into custody.
Police identified that man as Antoine Lamont Cummings, 43, of Aliquippa.
He is being held at the Beaver County Jail and is charged with obstructing administration of law and disorderly conduct.
