McKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A man was arrested Wednesday morning after he allegedly fled from police while handcuffed in McKees Rocks.
Channel 11's Renee Kaminski reported that a woman called 911 after L.G. Street, against whom she has a protection from abuse order, showed up at her home with a gun.
Authorities told Kaminski that when police showed up at the Helen Street apartment, Street answered the door and as he was being taken into custody, he ran out the back of the house.
Street was caught and arrested a short time later hiding under a boat on Catherine Street, authorities said.
"The officers that were on traffic duty found him hiding under a pleasure boat on a trailer on the back of one of these homes," McKees Rocks Police Chief Robert Cifrulak said.
Cifrulak said officers found a stolen, loaded Glock .45 inside the woman's apartment that they believe belonged to Street.
Officials said the woman and the couple's 6-month-old baby were upset, but not physically injured.
