PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police arrested Deonta Dux in the South Side’s Ormsby Park earlier this week after several girls flagged down an officer and reported that Dux was trying to have sex with them.
According to investigators, Dux asked the girls to come to his house in McKees Rocks.
One of the girls allegedly told Dux she was just 13 years old in hopes that he would stop harassing them.
According to police, Dux said back to them, “I don’t care about her age, I still want to have sex with her. That’s what we do in my country.”
Investigators did not specify which country Dux is from.
Police began to question Dux. They say he gave them a fake name and told them he lived in Michigan.
That’s when officers put him in a police cruiser, where investigators said he once again told them, “In my country, we have sex with juveniles.”
Dux is being held in the Allegheny County jail without bond.
