PITTSBURGH — A man was convicted Thursday of first-degree murder in the 2013 shooting death of a mother of six in Beltzhoover.
James Lawrence was on trial for the death of Tiona Jackson, 28, who was killed outside Red's Bar on East Warrington Avenue in February 2013. The jury convicted Lawrence of conspiracy, aggravated assault and a firearms violation, in addition to the murder conviction.

Dorian Peebles also faces murder charges for the shooting, which also injured a man outside the bar. Peebles' trial has not yet started.
Jackson is scheduled to be sentenced on June 24. He was convicted in March for third-degree murder in a separate case in which Steven Lee Jr., 21, was pulled off a party bus and fatally shot in March 2013.
