PITTSBURGH — A 32-year-old New Jersey man died after he was shot Friday night in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood, according to police.
The man, identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office as Mikal Francis, was shot at least once in the stomach, police said. Officers responded to the 7100 block of Idlewild Street around 9:55 p.m. for the shooting.

Francis, of Newark, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he later died.
Police have not said if they have any suspects.
The shooting is under investigation.
