According to police, the now-15-year-old boy claims 45-year-old Steven Kourkoutis sexually assaulted him.

“His allegations stayed the same throughout all the interviews,” Scott Township Police Sgt. Jeff Skees said.

Police said what Kourkoutis is accused of doing to the first-grader inside a Scott Township home was a terrible case of child sex abuse.

During the alleged assaults, which took place in the basement or bathroom, “no words were spoken between the two.”

Afterwards, the alleged victim said Kourkoutis told him to keep quiet about it.

Kourkoutis is charged with corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with the minor, endangering the welfare of children, rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse and sexual assault.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
