Man found shot in lobby of Pittsburgh apartment building

PITTSBURGH — A man was found shot inside the lobby of a Pittsburgh apartment building early Monday morning.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Centre Avenue in the Middle Hill at around 2:15 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found the man who had been shot twice in his chest and arm. Officers rendered first aid to the victim, including applying a chest seal and tourniquet.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Police said the man was involved in an argument in an upstairs apartment before the shooting, where a crime scene was located.

Two people were taken to Pittsburgh Police Headquarters for questioning. No charges have been filed, and no arrests have been made.

Pittsburgh Police detectives continue to investigate.
