PITTSBURGH — A man was found with a gunshot wound after reports of a shooting in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said officers were called to the 400 block of Brownsville Road in Knoxville at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening for reports of a man shot. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find a victim.
According to police, they later received a call from Mt. Oliver Borough first responders who reported that they had a person in their care who matched the description of the person Pittsburgh Police were looking for.
The man had been shot in the abdomen. Pittsburgh medics took him to a hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing, with police saying the victim has been uncooperative. Police have been unable to find the scene of the crime.
