A man who used to live in Sharon was recently sentenced for violating federal firearm and narcotics laws.
Bruce Lindsey, 47, was sentenced to just over six years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Lindsey was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.
Prosecutors say in March 2020, Lindsey engaged in armed crack cocaine trafficking in Sharon. He later pleaded guilty to two firearm violations and possessing with intent to distribute a quantity of cocaine.
The Department of Justice says Lindsey cannot possess a gun or ammunition because of previous state convictions for homicide and robbery.
