WILKINSBURG, Pa. — A man shot at a Wilkinsburg restaurant Wednesday afternoon has died.
Police said the shooter targeted the victim who had just sat down to eat at the Fireside Caribbean American Restaurant.
Customers were inside when the victim was shot in the torso while sitting in the booth.
"His meal was on the table in front of him. We was only there a few minutes. He went directly to him and shot him," said James Morton of Allegheny County police.
Police are looking for the shooter they describe as a black man who was wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue hat. Police said the shooter has a beard.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
