MARS, Pa. — Mars Area School District will remove snow days from its curriculum.
According to our partners at Butler Radio, students will learn remotely on days the school has to close.
Students will be able to get several more hours of sleep as the district says they will operate on a two-hour delay schedule during those days.
District officials say that delaying the start of classes will help both teachers and students prepare for the school day.
On a remote learning day, students will log in to each class for online instruction.
