ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A pedestrian is dead after a crash on McKnight Road.
Allegheny County dispatchers said police, firefighters and medics were called to the 5000 block of McKnight Road at 9:56 p.m. on Thursday.
A spokesperson for the Ross Township Police Department told Channel 11 that the department is “investigating a fatal pedestrian crash” in that area.
McKnight Road is closed in both directions between Patrick Place and Seibert Road.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
