ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police said dozens of students were cited at an underage drinking party, impacting the Montour High School football team.
Police said 50 teenagers were cited at a house party on Iroquois Drive. Seven of the teens play football on the high school team. Three are starters.
The seven players were suspended from the team.
Montour's football coach said the players broke a rule and are suspended indefinitely. They'll miss Friday's playoff game.
The parents who own the home face reckless endangerment and corruption of minor charges. Police said they were upstairs during the party.
Montour's superintendent said the students-athletes have not been suspended from school since the party did not happen on school property.
