The “Protectors of the Phoenix” and “Steel City Vulcan Riders” rode by the hospital Saturday and dropped off a donation of 150 stuffed bunnies for the hospital patients.

Staff and community members met the bikers on O’Hara Street to cheer them on.

“We are celebrating our second annual bunny run today, it is an opportunity for us to recognize spring, new life, joy hope,” said Deborah Brodine, president of UPMC Western Psychiatric.

The bikers traveled all the way from North Huntingdon to drop off their donations.
