PITTSBURGH — Two more Bottom Dollar Food stores opened Thursday in Ross Township and McKees Rocks.
The stores hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
"Earlier this year, we opened 11 stores in the greater Pittsburgh market within two months, and we are very pleased with customer reaction to our first stores in the area," said Bottom Dollar Food President Meg Ham. "We look forward to serving customers with unbelievable prices on fresh produce, quality meats and a variety of private brand and national brand items at our additional locations at McKnight Road in Pittsburgh and at Chartiers Avenue in McKees Rocks."
As part of the grand opening festivities, Bottom Dollar Food will donate $500 to each of the following schools and public agencies: Sto-Rox High School, Sto-Rox Middle School, Sto-Rox Elementary School and the McKee's Rocks Volunteer Fire Department; as well as McIntyre Elementary School, North Hills Senior High School, North Hills Junior High School and Ross Elementary School.
Bottom Dollar Food opened its first store in Pennsylvania on Oct. 8, 2010.
