BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. — A new CVS Pharmacy will hold its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday in Bridgeville.
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 11 a.m. at 417 Chartiers Street.
The new location spans more than 14,000 square feet on the site of a former Rite Aid and will employ roughly 15 people. The facility includes a drive-thru, an expanded pharmacy with a private vaccination area, an updated in-store delivery pickup zone and updated layout, décor and fixtures.
Ralph Haley serves as the store manager for the new location.
“We’re excited to introduce our Bridgeville neighbors to this beautiful new CVS store,” Haley said. “This new store has so much to offer our customers. From a wide selection of wellness products to beauty and household items—we’re here to make shopping easy and convenient and serve as a health and wellness hub for the community.”
The opening event includes a community block party scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26. The festivities will feature a complimentary food truck, live DJ, interactive games, giveaways and family activities.
The event will also kick off a weeklong promotion offering 30% off all full-priced CVS brand products through Oct. 3.
The store will operate Sunday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
