PITTSBURGH — Aldi officials announced Thursday that they’re bringing 200 new jobs to the Pittsburgh area.
The grocery chain is looking to fill numerous store associate and shift manager positions during 12 hiring events that will be held next Tuesday.

Starting wages for the shift manager position are as high as $17 per hour, more than twice Pennsylvania’s minimum wage, company officials said.
The hiring events are in support of the ongoing growth of Aldi in the area, including the recently purchased former Bottom Dollar Food store sites.
