Officials warned drivers ahead of a large Amish wedding in Western Pennsylvania.
The Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department in Venango County said more than 500 people were expected to attend the wedding Thursday, with most traveling by horse and buggy.
Heavy traffic and congestion would be concerns along State Route 308, between Jamison Road and Eau Claire Road.
People would start arriving at 7 a.m. More activity was expected throughout the morning and when people departed, officials said,
Drivers were told to plan ahead, slow down and give themselves extra travel time. They were also urged to be cautious when passing horse-drawn vehicles and be aware of pedestrians.
