PITTSBURGH — UPDATE JUNE 19 6:30 a.m.: More than 400 outages are reported between Duquesne Light Co. and West Penn Power.
Strong winds have caused power outages throughout the Western Pennsylvania area.
At 4 p.m., over 17,000 power outages were reported locally.
At 11:30 p.m., that number had dropped down into the hundreds.
Duquesne Light had 491 remaining power outages.

All local counties for West Penn Power reported fewer than 100 power outages, except for Fayette County, which reported 561 power outages.
