Severe thunderstorms moved through Western Pennsylvania on Thursday, causing thousands of power outages.
As of 7:40 a.m. on Friday., Duquesne Light Company reported 2,368 outages.
In Allegheny County, DLC reports 1,690 power outages.
In Beaver County, DLC reports 679 power outages.

West Penn Power is reporting over 3,800 outages in our area.
Of those power outages, local communities reported:
- Allegheny County - 276 power outages
- Armstrong County - 937 power outages
- Butler County - 282 power outages
- Fayette County - 53 power outages
- Greene County - 382 power outages
- Indiana County - 97 power outages
- Lawrence County - 154 power outages
- Washington County - 267 power outages
- Westmoreland County - 1,364 power outages
