GREENSBURG, Pa. — The founder of a local Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership in Greensburg was killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in Florida.
James McMahan, founder of Z&M Cycle Sales, and his wife, Linda McMahan, who was his passenger at the time of the accident, were thrown from the motorcycle after colliding with a vehicle in Melbourne Beach, Florida.

"Jim and Linda have created a family here. Not a business, but a family," said Jim Persin, general manager of sales at Z&M Cycle. "Jim McMahan Senior's life is a legacy."
Linda McMahan was taken to a local hospital by medical helicopter.
A hospital spokesperson told TribLIVE that she was not listed as a patient on Monday.
Persin said those who saw Linda McMahan Sunday night said she was in stable condition.

The accident was reported about 5 miles from the McMahans' winter home in Florida.
Persin told Channel 11's Brandon Hudson Jim McMahan started his business in 1968 and since then it has been firmly planted in the community.
"There will be a lot of people affected, believe me, very deeply by the loss of Jim McMahon Sr.," Persin said.
