PITTSBURGH — Panda Fest will make its Pittsburgh debut from Sept. 18 to Sept. 20 at the Station Square Parking Lot.
The three-day festival at 73 East Carson St. will feature more than 80 food vendors offering more than 200 Asian street food dishes representing cuisines from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and other regions.
In addition to food, the festival includes a marketplace with more than 30 vendors selling crafts, apparel, accessories and artisanal goods inspired by Asian heritage.
Cultural programming during the festival will feature traditional art demonstrations, contemporary dance, theatrical showcases and live entertainment.
Previous editions of the national festival have included lion dances, sugar painting, paper cutting, calligraphy and K-pop dance performances.
Panda-themed attractions will be featured throughout the festival grounds. Highlights include a 15-foot inflatable panda, a panda bounce house, themed treats, merchandise, interactive games and photo spots.
The festival will run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18; from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19; and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20. Tickets and event information are available online at www.pandafests.com.
