WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — A portion of Camp Hollow Road in West Mifflin Borough will close starting at 9 p.m. Friday for construction work, according to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
The weekend closure on Camp Hollow Road, also designated State Route 2043, will affect the section between Lebanon Church Road and Livingston Road in Allegheny County. Crews are scheduled to finish roadway reconstruction in the area as part of the Mon/Fayette Expressway Project.
Emergency vehicles will be given access through the restricted area if needed during the closure.
The planned reconstruction work is weather-sensitive. If inclement weather occurs over the weekend, the Turnpike Commission will postpone the project to the following weekend, beginning Oct. 16.
Camp Hollow Road is scheduled to reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12.
