Part of northbound Route 28 reopens after rollover crash

A major roadway in Allegheny County was temporarily shut down in one direction after a rollover crash on Tuesday afternoon.

Northbound Route 28 shut down near Exit 8 just before 4 p.m. All restrictions were lifted by 5:20 p.m.

PennDOT cameras showed a vehicle rolled onto its roof.

Any injuries as a result of the crash were not immediately clear.

Traffic was backed up as a result of the crash.
