PITTSBURGH — Part of the Parkway East shut down for over an hour on Monday night.
At 9:50 p.m., PennDOT announced that all I-376 westbound traffic must exit at the Squirrel Hill/Homestead (Exit 74) interchange.
The Parkway East reopened by 11:10 p.m.
PennDOT said the reason for the diversion of traffic was “police activity.”
