A pavement failure is impacting traffic on a main road in Hampton Township.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says there’s a pavement failure in a work zone on McCully Road. The road is now closed to traffic between Topnick Drive and Short Street.
Drivers will need to use alternative routes.
This road closure is going to impact school bus traffic, according to a message sent to families of the Hampton School District. Buses may arrive 10-15 minutes later than normal as buses adjust their routes to accommodate the unexpected closure.
