Penguins reveal Hometown Remix uniforms

The Pittsburgh Penguins have unveiled the team’s new “Hometown Remix” uniform.

The sweater’s design incorporates rich blue coloring originally worn during the Penguins’ inaugural 1967 season. It features color layering and offset stitching methods drawn from local landmarks and Pittsburgh’s cultural heritage, with retro elements set to appear throughout the team’s 60th anniversary season.

The Penguins will debut the Hometown Remix uniforms on Nov. 3, when they play the Vegas Golden Knights at PPG Paints Arena. The team will compete in those sweaters at 10 home games total this season.

The special-edition sweater is part of a league-wide program featuring custom designs for all 32 NHL franchises.

The uniform release includes both Authentic Pro and Premium jersey versions. The accompanying apparel lineup features headwear, hoodies, tees, fleece and outerwear available across team stores, the NHL Shop NYC flagship store and online.
