FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities searched for a few hours Wednesday afternoon for a woman who was involved in a bad car accident before they found her at work.

Authorities told Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz that a car crashed over a hillside in the area of South Camp Run Road around 1:45 p.m.

The car was located about 30 to 40 feet down the hill, but crews couldn’t found a body or anyone that was involved.

After searching for a few hours, the woman was located at her job. She told authorities she was driving Wednesday morning when she hit a deer. She was able to crawl out of the car and went to work.

“That was our main concern. We needed to find out where this person was and locate her so we knew nothing was wrong,” said Franklin Township police Chief Brian Speer.

Marcinkiewicz reported the woman, whose name hasn’t been released, has head and arm injuries. She never went to the hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
