Pitt football player, Upper St. Clair alum accused of DUI while going 117mph

PITTSBURGH — An Upper St. Clair graduate and member of the University of Pittsburgh football team is facing several charges after he was allegedly clocked driving at 117mph earlier this year on the Parkway East.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a Pennsylvania state trooper working near the Fort Pitt Bridge clocked Blair driving at 117 mph in a 55 mph zone around 3:30 a.m.

The Post-Gazette reports the criminal complaint said the trooper detected a strong odor of marijuana and noticed Blair had blood-shot eyes.
