Pitt might miss explosive playmakers vs. Syracuse

Pitt went without running back Ja’Kyrian “Boosie” Turner during a hard-fought, 12-7 win over UCF on Saturday evening. The Panthers lost field-stretching transfer receiver Malik Knight during the third quarter to an apparent shoulder injury.

Knight had two catches for 20 yards in the rain-soaked win. He ran to the sideline with his left arm dangling before being checked on the sideline and heading to the locker room, not to return.
