GREENSBURG, Pa. — DICK’S House of Sport is celebrating the opening of a new location.
A grand opening event was held at the new store on Route 30 in Greensburg on Friday.
The store features a climbing wall, golf bays with simulators and a multi-sport cage for baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer.
Athletes can try out different products while tracking their performance.
Former Steeler Ryan Shazier was on hand to help cut the ribbon.
“To me, sports helped me get to where I was in my life, and to know that and to know that you can come to one place that you can find everything I always wanted, I thought that’s pretty cool,” Shazier said.
The celebration continues all weekend with giveaways, deals and player appearances.
On Saturday, fans can get autographs from Pirates shortstop Konnor Griffin. Steelers rookie Gennings Dunker will be there on Sunday.
