PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Athletic Association Restaurant was ordered closed Thursday after several high-risk health code violations were found, according to the Allegheny County Health Department’s website.
The violations for the restaurant, located on Fifth Avenue in Oakland, included not cleaning the deli slicer, not having hot water and storing meats at unsafe temperatures.

The report also said that there were three live cockroaches on a shelf below the salad dressing prep unit, and over 20 dead cockroaches throughout different parts of the kitchen area.
